‘Hospital-grade’ disinfectant products
Our disinfectant products are in conformity with the European standard EN14476 by demonstrating the ability to eliminate enveloped viruses, such as Coronavirus, as well as bacterial spores. You can be reassured that your space will be disinfected and stay disinfected for at most a week.
Non-Toxic Treatment
We understand that the safety aspects of a strong disinfectant may have crossed your mind. However our products are non-toxic, bleach-free, and certified safe to use around children and pets, although we will ask you to leave the premises whilst the decontamination is carried out.
A Range of Methods
Our specialist technicians will be able to determine the suitable methods of decontamination for you. We offer surface wipes for high risk ‘touch points’, surface sprays which penetrate dirt, and a ULV fogger for large spaces and hard-to-reach areas. This will guarantee a thorough decontamination of your workspace or home.
How Can we Help?
Border Control technicians offer a specialist commercial and residential disinfection service, including vehicles. All of our technicians are fully qualified to provide sanitising services in order to mitigate the spread of infection.
We use ’hospital-grade’ disinfectant products which have demonstrated viricidal activity relevant to enveloped viruses, including coronavirus, in accordance with the European standard EN14476. They are non-toxic, bleach-free, and certified safe to use around children and pets, although we will ask you to leave the premises whilst the decontamination is carried out.
The Disinfection Process
We use 3 different methods of application:

Surface wipes- for touch points with a high transmission potential such as stair banisters and desktops

Surface spray- offers a dose to achieve saturation to penetrate dirt and ensure effective treatment
3
ULV fogger- generates a fine mist to decontaminate hard-to-reach areas and more open spaces
Once the disinfectant has been applied, the treatment takes immediate effect. However, whilst our disinfectants are persistent and remain effective once dry for 7 days, a repeat treatment is recommended.
As licensed waste carriers, Border Control are trained to handle and dispose of the hazardous clinical waste generated. We will also provide you with full certification that we have made the area safe.
Practical Measures to Stay Safe and Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
Practicing proper hand hygiene by washing your hands thoroughly, or by using alcohol hand sanitiser if soap and water are not available, will help combat COVID-19.
Cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue when sneezing. Avoid close contact with others, especially those who are evidently unwell.
Following the government advice is critical to keep both yourself and the public safe.
