Falconer and Pest Control Technician

Are you good with animals, looking for variety in the workplace, both indoor and outdoor and to grow your knowledge in a changing landscape? We are looking for the right person to join our expanding team.

Border Control is a professional business who provide expert advice and service to the commercial and domestic market. We specialise in Falconry Pest Control, which is flying birds of prey in a controlled environment, which deters nesting birds.

We are seeking a specialist Pest Control Technician either with or without Falconry experience, to join our teams in the Midlands. You’ll be working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, with flexibility to achieve business needs as required. Alternatively you will already be a specialist, self-employed pest controller who is looking to expand their portfolio and get steady regular contracts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to get into Falconry but already has pest control qualifications.

Ideally you need to be educated to GCSE standard and hold a full clean UK driving license.

You will also:

Be comfortable with outdoor and indoor work, confined spaces and working at height
Possess or able to obtain state pest certification (RSPH/IPCA)
Previous face to face customer service experience with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to refer customer leads
Previous pest elimination industry or field service experience essential
Ability to plan and prioritise workload

Experience:
pest control: 1 year (preferred)

Licences:

Full and Clean UK driving licence (Required)
BPCA Level 1 (Preferred)
RSPH Level 2 (Preferred)
